Talent Stacker Experience Project
Project DescriptionTalent Stacker specializes in providing advanced Salesforce training for professionals at all stages of their career. After achieving my Salesforce Administrator Certification I joined Talent Stacker to gain hands on-experience in a project team. This project aimed to analyze, refine, and implement 69 functional requirements provided by Talent Stacker. The primary business goal was to develop a robust client tracking system to manage student journeys from lead generation through to graduation.
Final ReportThe Final Report is designed to highlight my contributions and expertise, not comprehensively document the implemented org. The report outlines the project's purpose, our process, and highlights components of technical implementation.
Training VideosThis video demonstrates the business need for Flow Automation related to Experience Projects. For all video training assets, please see the Video Library.
Salesforce Integration with Rise LMS
Project DescriptionRead to a Child relies on Salesforce to manage its volunteer program. Before getting to work, volunteers complete required training in Rise LMS.Read to a Child staff manually created Rise accounts after seeing new volunteer applications arrive in Salesforce. This integration project automated Rise user creation and curriculum assignment for every volunteer application submitted to Salesforce.
Client DocumentationThe client is a solo admin and wanted to implement the final solution herself. We provided this documentation to facilitate that work.
Proof of ConceptA demo org established the viability of the proposed solution before changes were made to the client's Salesforce production environment.
Salesforce Implementation Quick Advise
Project DescriptionResilient Community Arts exists to provide an accessible, community-driven arts space that fosters meaningful independent creativity and nurtures collaborative efforts to bring marginalized identities into the center of the arts— specifically those facing economic hardship. I provided written consultation on Catchafire.
QuestionCan a Salesforce CRM be set up by someone not working for Salesforce, or is paying them thousands of dollars for set up the only way to proceed with their product?
AnswerThe short answer is no. You don't have to pay Salesforce to implement the platform. Paid consulting services are available from Salesforce, but they are not required. Other options are third-party consultants, who also provide implementation services for a price.Customers can implement Salesforce for free, but this requires business analysis and knowledge of the platform. Trailhead is a free Salesforce training platform that includes specific modules for nonprofit implementation. Finally, you can work with a qualified volunteer through Catchafire, Volunteer Match, or others. There are nonprofits seeking Salesforce help right here on Catchafire.
